Pete’s ice adventures
Peter walked to the south pole, Antarctica in 1996 followed by the Arctic in 1998. His experiences have been documented in the book “A Step Too Far” and the documentaries “Hell on Ice” and “Ice Break Heart.”
Dedicating his life to exploring our planet and enabling others to feel the emotions and enrichment of its Unique Frontiers, Pete has many a story to share and an ability to engage everyone at their level. His 2014 expedition “Outback to Icecap” is one of his favourites.
Everyday life?
Nowadays Pete is a vegan living what he preaches - sustainable living. Peter and his wife Beatrice have carefully crafted their property in South West Gippsland into Wattle Bank Farm, where they grow mushrooms, teach Horsecraft, and host a gorgeous B&B setup based around teaching a relationship with the land and produce.
